Young Promotors

The recent performance of ‘A Heart at Sea’ by Half a String Theatre, organised by our Young Promoters in Dosbarth Bedwen, was a huge success! The children gained an invaluable insight into the process involved in promoting and arranging all the details of the event in a real-life context, gaining valuable skills along the way. A profit of approximately £140 was made from refreshment sales, teas and coffees, advertisements, programme sales and donations. This money will be used towards Dosbarth Bedwen’s science project in the summer term. We would like to thank all those who supported the project, with particular thanks to Ms Blue MacAskill for all her hard work, the Newbridge Post Office, Mrs Emma Booth and the Friends of the School.
