Safeguarding Policy

 At Newbridge-on-Wye Church in Wales School we fully recognises the contribution we make to safeguarding children and that safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility.

There are three main elements to our Safeguarding Policy:

• Prevention -- through the culture, teaching and pastoral support offered to learners;

• Procedures -- for identifying and reporting cases, or suspected cases, of abuse.

• Support -- to those learners who may have been abused.

Our Safeguarding Policy applies to all staff and volunteers working in the school and to all governors.

Our Safeguarding Policy is reviewed and updated annually.
