ECO Fashion Show

One of the purposes of the New Curriculum is to ensure children are ethical/informed citizens, who are ready to be citizens of Wales. ECO week incorporated these principles, encouraging pupils to extend their creative and artistic abilities designing and producing very imaginative clothing out of recycled materials. Pupils gained a valuable insight into the importance recycling materials has on our environment. The week culminated in a Fashion Show, which was a huge success and very well attended. The school raised a total of £64.50 and our ECO committee will determine how these funds should be used. Thank you to Mrs Amanda Jones and Miss Pugh for organising the event and to Mrs Alison Morgan (fashion business owner) for adjudicating.
