Kirsty Williams Covid-19 Update

Dear Parent/ Carer,

I am sure you are by now, all aware the school has been identified as the Builth Cluster Emergency Childcare Hub for;  Franksbridge, Llanelwedd, Builth, Irfon Valley, Dolafon and Newbridge. It's role to provide emergency childcare for the key workers, fulfilling a vital role at this time who have no alternative childcare provision. This has taken a considerable amount of cooperation and effort, to enable measures to be put in place. I am extremely grateful to all the staff working to support this important provision, who will be working through their Easter break. I must also thank you all for your understanding and patience at this difficult time.

Going forward, we have every intention at the start of the summer term, to build on the work begun prior to the school closure. We will be developing a programme to support your child's learning. Each Class teacher has currently provided work on the online platform, with the Foundation Phase on Seesaw and Key Stage 2 on HWB .

We will be contacting you again prior to the end of the traditional Easter break, to explain arrangements further, until then keep safe.
